The Maharashtra government has deposited Rs. 15.3 crore in the bank accounts of 306 children orphaned by Covid.
“The State government had promised to take care of children who had lost their parents to Covid by supporting them with the assistance of Rs. 5 lakh each.
Accordingly, Rs. 15.30 crore has been disbursed so far to the accounts of over 306 children, helping in securing their future” Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray tweeted on Tuesday.
