TC&A present at The MIT Media Lab, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.

Guy Ben-Ary is employed as the manager of the IAAF and joins Catts' and Zurr’s TC&A.

The shared vision of Grounds, Bunt and Catts for a permanent space for artists to engage with science in various capacities leads to the construction of the artists’ studio/lab on the second floor of the School of Anatomy and Human Biology at The University of Western Australia, funded by Lottery West and The University of Western Australia.

Oron Catts and Ionat Zurr receive a small research and development grant from Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts and then a larger one from the New Media Arts Board of The Australia Council for the Arts to ’Explore the use of tissue technologies as a medium for artistic expression’.
