REY Nambatac has signed a new three-year deal with Rain or Shine.
The contract is maximum, according to Nabatac's agent Edgar Mangahas, which means Nambatac will receive P420,000 a month from the Elastopainters.
Nambatac, drafted by the Elastopainters in 2017, averaged 11.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in the 2021 Philippine Cup, second in scoring behind Javee Mocon.
The former Letran star has proven he is not afraid to take the big shots for Rain or Shine over the years.
Last September, the 27-year-old scored a tough jumper with 2.5 seconds left to lift the Elastopainters to a 95-93 win over San Miguel, just one of his many clutch moments in the PBA.
Rey Nambatac was second in scoring for Rain or Shine in the Philippine Cup.
