Medicaid Coverage During
COVID-19 Isolation
Medicaid has added a number of flexibilities for recipients and providers to facilitate the provision of health services while practicing social distancing. Added flexibilities include allowing additional services to be provided via telemedicine, coverage of certain services provided via telephone, and flexibilities regarding filling prescription drugs and medical supplies.
Another service:
Money Follows the Person (MFP) helps people living in long term care facilities return to their homes and communities.
The program provides funding for one-time transitions and supports that aren’t typically covered by Medicaid to assist people moving home. Services include: Transitional: a security deposit or first month’s rent, household goods, supplies, furnishings. Transportation: moving expenses and daily travel for appointments (get groceries, run errands, etc.). Assistive Technology: adaptive equipment, safety grab bars, etc.
If you need assistance then don’t hesitate to contact Department of Social Services (DSS) at https://dss.sd.gov or call the community helpline by dialing 211.
Delta Dental Bus at Wesley
The bus will be here the week of August 10th.
Because of Covid-19 there are fewer appointments available.
Monday Afternoon and Tuesday the kids are seen for initial exam and cleaning.
The rest of the week is spent doing more extensive work.
Call the office at 338-4562 for more information and to schedule an appointment.

Thank you!
Welcome to our faith family.
Thank you!
Many thanks to my Wesley family who gave me such a wonderful drive-by parade with horns honking, balloons, banners, signs, and taking turns for window visiting. It was all so overwhelming! Thank you for all the love, virtual hugs, window visits, prayers, cards, phone calls, gifts and text messages during my stay at Prince of Peace and Prairie Center.
Love and hugs, Della.
