New Zealanders able to travel to NSW, VIC, quarantine-free

New Zealanders will be able to travel to New South Wales and Victoria from tomorrow without having to quarantine upon arrival.

Under the rules of the one-way travel bubble visitors will need to be fully vaccinated and will require a negative Covid test within three days prior to departure.

Australia's Tourism Minister Dan Tehan says it will mean families can be reunited.

"We're welcoming New Zealand tourists, family and friends back here to Australia and when it comes to Victoria and New South Wales that will be quarantine-free, but for Australians travelling to New Zealand they'll have to abide by the restrictions the New Zealand government has in place."

New Zealanders will have to spend time in MIQ when they return.
