A Porirua college has said a person with Covid-19 was at the school on Tuesday.

Mana College principal John Murdoch shared the news in a community update sent out by the school this afternoon.
The school would still open tomorrow, and students should still attend, he said, but called on any families with unvaccinated children to get them vaccinated against the virus.
"We have worked with Ministry of Health and education officials, and have identified the close contacts. These people are isolating in line with official advice," he said.
"We have appropriate public health measures and cleaning procedures in place.
"We ask you all for kindness and compassion towards those who are isolating at this time."
He said it was important that anyone with any symptoms of Covid-19, no matter how minimal, get tested and stay away from school until they got a negative test result.
A reminder list of the symptoms to watch out for included: any new or worsening cough, sneezing, a runny nose, fever, a temporary loss of smell or altered sense of taste, a sore throat, and shortness of breath.
But Murdoch said there were other less common symptoms to also look out for: diarrhoea, headache, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting, malaise, chest pain, abdominal pain, joint pain, confusion, or irritability.
