The Construction Industry Council (CIC) is highly concerned about the recent serious accidents involving lifting operation. In view of this, the CIC focuses on lifting operation safety in this year, including conducting a holistic review on safety training courses of lifting operation of CIC, newly launching Certificate for Lifting Safety Supervisors training course, developed a VR lifting safety training module as well as a series of technical issue promotion, in order to enhance safety awareness of lifting operation.
The representatives of the CIC, Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC) and Labour Department will share the latest information of lifting operation safety. Through the webinar, it is hoped that the participants will have a better understanding on lifting operation safety and implement the safety practices promptly.
