Electorate profiles 2020
Want to learn more about the people, jobs, and lifestyles of your community? Find out in your electorate’s profile in the list below.
The Parliamentary Library produces these profiles for New Zealand's seven Māori electorates and 65 general electorates. Each profile includes election results for the 2020, 2017, and 2014 elections, statistics about people, education, housing, work and incomes, maps, and information about electorate boundaries and history. If you’re not sure which electorate you’re in, find out here.
The electorate profiles have not been updated since the 2023 General Election results, as the majority of the data in the profiles comes from the 2018 Census which is still the most recent available. The electorate profiles will be reviewed before the 2026 General Election, and ahead of this the 2023 election results are available from the Electoral Commission.
For more information on electorate profiles please contact the Parliamentary Information Service (parlinfo@parliament.govt.nz).
