Taslima Nasreen slams Sunny Leone

Mumbai, Jun 5: Bangladeshi feminist writer Taslima Nasreen slammed porn star Sunny Leone for her rising popularity across the country.

"When u make a porn actress a celebrity, u encourage ur daughters 2dream 2be a porn actress, rather than an astronaut, an engineer or a doctor(sic)," read her Tweet on micro-blogging site, Twitter.

The adult film star, who garnered attention after she was offered movies in Bollywood was slammed for being a porn star. Her entry into the film industry evoked mixed reactions.

Earlier, the writer slammed Kingfisher model Poonam Pandey for cashing in on cheap publicity.

"Poonam Pandey got naked but not satisfied. She wanna do dirtiest things none did before. Wants to get fucked in public!" read Taslima Nasreen's tweet on Twitter.

She had tweeted in response to the aspiring actress' earlier tweet.

"Attitude is like your underwear; you must wear it, but never show it. But then i like Flaunting the right Attitude a lot :P."(sic). Along with the tweet, she also posted a very seductive picture of herself in her innerwear with the tweet as a caption."

"My protest against the objectification is for womens dignity, not 4 publicity. My criticism was against the video you endorsed.(sic)," read Taslima's tweet.

"F*** what people say... Do YOU. Some people will hate you for it, but it's the ones that love you for it that are more important," read Poonam Pandey's tweet in reply to Taslima's tweet.
