About your school

Regents International School Pattaya is like no other school in Thailand. We provide unique learning opportunities far beyond the ordinary. We think beyond traditional education to transform learning and are an exciting, vibrant and inclusive school which has something to offer to every child and every family. Our diverse community helps our children to develop a global mindset, essential for their future success in our ever-changing world.

We have approximately 800 students aged from 2 to 18, from more than 50 different countries, spread evenly across our Early Primary, Primary and Secondary schools, including around 50 boarding students. As both a day and boarding school we encourage our students to be ambitious in their learning and believe there is no limit to what they can achieve. We are the most successful school on the Eastern Seaboard with a long-established reputation over the past 27 years. Our students are successful because our approach encourages children to think for themselves, how to question, how to learn – skills that will last them for a lifetime.

We currently follow the UK Early Years Foundation Stage, the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), Key Stage 3 English Curriculum, offer the iGCSE and the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Year after year we celebrate academic success in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and iGCSEs, maintaining consistently high results way above the world average. Our high expectations do not stop with academic success. We want our students to develop the courage and conviction to look at the world around them and act to make it a better place.

We recruit outstanding teaching staff, specialists in their field, who support each student to achieve to the best of their ability by delivering a personalised learning experience for every child. Success takes many different forms and we celebrate them all; sportsmanship in competition, the courage to speak publicly on stage for the first time and making friends with children from many different countries and backgrounds. We believe trying and failing are vital ingredients for success in every area of life.

Regents is also a member of the Round Square organisation and as such we embed the ethos of Global Citizenship within our curriculum and learning opportunities both in and outside the classroom. We value very highly our wide range of community partnerships and look to appoint teachers who are also passionate about active community service for themselves and the children in their care. We are very proud of the action our students and community members take and our commitment to our local community partners.

Our school is located in a beautiful, rural area, surrounded by palm trees, just outside of Pattaya on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand. We are about 100km south of Bangkok and just a 90 minute drive from Bangkok International Airport. Opened in 1994 we have a long-established reputation as one of the most sought-after international schools in Southeast Asia.

Our schools
