National wants a public inquiry into the supermarket terror attack, saying it would show whether there are any gaps in our response.Â
Newly-minted Counter-terrorism spokesperson Mark Mitchell told Mike Hosking any recommendations on how to close those gaps would be really important.Â
"We've obviously just had an update on the terrorism legislation that's going through the elect committee at the moment. But there's probably going to be other areas that will be highlighted that we have to pay attention to and make sure that we actually make New Zealand safer."Â
