Marama Davidson, David Seymour clash over what's a 'legitimate' reason for kids to miss school

The ACT leader and Greens co-leader clashed over what is a legitimate reason for a child to miss school on Monday. 

ACT's David Seymour and the Green Party's Marama Davidson joined AM on Monday to discuss the solutions to lowering Aotearoa's truancy rate. 

The pair were asked whether it was legitimate for a young person to miss school for a wedding, holiday, funeral or for mental health reasons. But the pair disagreed over several points.
