Financial system in good shape but worries about the housing market

Reserve Bank expects restrictions to slow new lending to property investors.

The Reserve Bank has warned that people who have borrowed recently to buy a home are vulnerable to a rise in mortgage interest rates.

In its six-monthly Financial Stability Report, it said households and the financial system would also be exposed by a drop in house prices.
