Dear Friends, Our 5th post is on the exciting world of #Sensors & disruption in #Shopping & #Retail. It is estimated, by Year 2030, globally 500+ Billion devices will be connected & Sensors will be in everything & omnipresent. Sociologist Neil Gross, prediction aptly describes the scale of impact of Sensors. 'In the next century, planet earth will don electric skin. It will use internet as a scaffold to transmit its sensation. This will consist of embedded devices - thermostats, pressure gauges, cameras, microphone etc. These will monitor cities, atmosphere, highways, species, our bodies & even our dreams' Digitization will inevitably transform this world & our experiences. We use the example of emerging Frictionless Shopping phenomena to project future of Retail. Binit & myself are enjoying sharing these learning and receiving your encouraging responses. Next Post on 13th July 2020.
