Salman Khan’s fans couldn’t keep calm after the actor announced his film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s sequel. During the RRR event in Mumbai on Sunday, December 19, Salman shared that he will soon be seen playing the innocent Bajrangi, who crosses the borders to get Munni (Harshali Mehta) back home in Pakistan. Now, during an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s director Kabir Khan revealed that Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2’s script and the idea is not ready yet.

BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN 2’S SCRIPT NOT READY, SAYS KABIR KHAN

While Kabir Khan is currently looking forward to the release of his upcoming film, 83, he also seems to have new and exciting projects in the pipeline. On December 19, Salman Khan announced the sequel of his 2015 hit film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which was directed by filmmaker Kabir Khan. During an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, the director revealed that while Salman has made the announcement, there is a lot that has to be done when it comes to Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2, including writing the script and its ideation.

“I would like to only speak about 83 right now. That announcement is something that Salman did. Neither the script is written, nor has the idea been formed really. There is literally nothing right now we can talk about,” Kabir Khan told IndiaToday.in.

ABOUT BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN

Bajrangi Bhaijaan starred Salman Khan in the title role. The film featured Kareena Kapoor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Harshali Mehta in pivotal roles. The movie was released on July 17, 2015. In the film, Salman played a simple man who is a devotee of Lord Hanuman. He meets a speech-impaired girl, Munni (Harshali), who is from Pakistan and accidentally gets lost in India.
