The series will be hosted by the University of Strathclyde, with different partners from across the world leading each webinar.

This series has been running since 12th May but it's not too late to join in, once you sign up you will be invited to attend future webinars in this series . You will receive an email confirmation with links to the webinar from our zoom account on the day of each webinar and a general reminder a couple of days before.

12 May: 'What can we learn from previous Pandemics and from the response to COVID-19 so far?’ The webinar was be led by Professor Jeremy Lauer from the University of Strathclyde, and formerly of the WHO, and with inputs from Prof Kat Smith and Prof Kalipso Chalkidou. Watch Now

26 May: The Global Economic and Political Challenges of COVID and the Lockdown with University of Waterloo . Led by Professor Bessma Momani of the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, who will lead a discussion on The Global Economic and Political Challenges of COVID and the Lockdown. Watch Now

9 June : Global Perspectives after the Massive Global Disruption at 1300h (BST) with Middle East University , led by Professor Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli .

16 June: Internationalisation in the Post-COVID-19 era at 1230h (BST) with Asian Institute of Technology will led by Dr Eden Woon.

23 June: Opportunities to restart our society on a greener energy path at 1300h (BST) with Chalmers University of Technology. Led by Professor Anders Palmqvist, Vice President for Research and Research Education.

30 June: COVID19 Neutralizing activity at 1300h (BST) with University of Pavia and will be led by Professor Fausto Baldanti, Head of the Laboratory of Molecular Virology, who will discuss COVID19 Neutralizing activity: diagnosis, epidemiology and treatment perspective.

7 July: The Urban Public University as an Engine of Recovery at 1400 (BST) with City University of New York.

14 July: The Future of Work -learning from the pandemic at 1300h (BST) with Politecnico di Milano.

Students will require 75% attendance of the webinars from the 19 May to the 14 July to be awarded a ‘Certificate of Attendance’ for the series. You can find the flyer with further information here.
