This hybrid symposium brings together thought leaders in Aged Residential Care (ARC) and retirement village research and development to showcase practice innovation, system redesign projects and research. ARC and retirement village clinical practitioners, planners, funders, employers, owners, residents and supporters interested in best practice and quality improvement will find value in attending. The symposium is chaired by Professor Ngaire Kerse, Joyce Cook Chair in Ageing Well.
The Joyce Cook Chair in Ageing Well was set up to stimulate innovation in all areas of ageing research and education to improve wellbeing for older people. The ARC sector is critical to get right as the most vulnerable group in our society live and thrive there and the next half century will see unprecedented numbers of people requiring high levels of care and support. This symposium is part of the process of highlighting issues, putting thought leaders together and providing practical solutions.
