(Paytm) released its quarterly update highlighting key business numbers for Q3 FY22. The following are the takeaways: The total gross merchandise value continued to grow strongly and maintained robust traction over Q3FY22 – it grew 123% YoY to Rs 2.5 trillion in Q3 FY22 versus Rs 2.0 trillion in Q2 FY22. Average monthly transacting users grew 37% YoY to 64.4 million in Q3 FY22 (verus 57.4 million in September 2021). Paytm's monthly GMV per transacting user continued to increase, growing 63% YoY to Rs 12,950 in Q3 FY22. The total number of devices deployed grew to 2.0 million. The number of merchant partners stood at 23 million in Q2 FY22 versus 18.5 million in Q2 FY21.
