Vodafone Idea Ltd. has lost millions of users during a fierce price war in the past year, a further blow to the wireless phone operator’s struggle to stay afloat. Clawing back customers will be crucial for the joint venture between Vodafone Group Plc and Indian billionaire Kumar Mangalam Birla, which hasn’t reported an annual profit in five years. Vodafone Idea lost 27.8 million users in the past 12 months, while Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. added 32.5 million and Bharti Airtel Ltd. gained 28.9 million customers.
