Māori climate activist India Logan-Riley has spoken at the opening of the COP-26 Summit where she is representing indigenous communities.
The crucial climate summit is under way in Glasgow, where more than 25,000 people are expected to attend over the next fortnight.
Logan-Riley said warnings of sea level rise and wildfires had gone unheard.
"Six years ago I spoke these stories into this space and every year since I have repeated the same words - wildfires, sea level rise, wildfires, suffering, sea level rise, biodiversity loss, sea level rise," she told the summit.
"This is an invitation to you, this COP, learn our histories, listen to our stories, honour our knowledge and get in line or get out of the way."
