Exclusive: Twitter played Cupid for Hrithik and Saba, reveal sources

It happened for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas and looks like social media played an important role in getting another couple together — Hrithik and Saba.
Actor Hrithik Roshan and singer-actress Saba Azad have been the talk of the town for a while now. The two have been spotted at a few restaurants in Mumbai leaving hand in hand. Saba was even seen with Hrithik’s family recently. Much against the ancient Bollywood norm, the two are unperturbed by the excessive paparazzi attention.Are they just friends or more, is the question on everyone’s mind. Turns out the two have been in getting to know each other dating phase.
A source told BT, “They have been dating for the past 2-3 months. While it was rumoured that the two met on an elite dating app, turns out that isn’t true. The two met on Twitter.” We hear, it all started when Hrithik had liked and shared a video on Twitter that featured Saba and a known rapper. He had addressed the tweet to the makers as he knew them. Saba we hear wrote back to him thanking for the same and that’s how the two got talking on DMs.
Another source told BT, “Unlike so many, they aren’t hiding it and it’s admirable, the mutual respect. Everyone has a right to be happy. People are judging Saba and envying for ‘getting lucky’. She bagging the Greek God stories, he winning over a younger girl gossip but they should know that they both are well thinking adults. She is a talented singer and actor herself and both get along extremely well as people. She has a great personality, is witty and smart, is childlike at heart and they both have a philosophical bent of mind and approach towards life. Perhaps this is what binds them.”
Saba is also a part of a band. She was previously in a relationship with Naseeruddin Shah’s son Imaad Shah, for over two years. He is also a part of the band. Hrithik and his ex wife Sussanne coparent their children. Sussanne is extremely supportive of Saba and was seen appreciating her musical talent recently.
