(Composition of Offences)
Regulations 2022
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 48 of the Cybersecurity Act 2018, Mrs Josephine Teo, Minister for Communications and Information and Second Minister for Home Affairs who is charged with the responsibility for cybersecurity, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Cybersecurity (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 11 April 2022.
Compoundable offences
2.  An offence (other than a continuing offence) under section 8(4), 10(2) or (7), 13(2), 15(7)(a) or (b) or (8), 16(3) or 24(2) of the Act may be compounded by the Commissioner or any Assistant Commissioner authorised by the Commissioner in accordance with section 41 of the Act.
