Touch ‘n Go eWallet users can now enjoy enhanced convenience by conveniently paying for on-street parking in more locations across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.

With the addition of Majlis Perbandaran Klang, Majlis Bandaraya Seremban – Nilai, and Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya, Touch ‘n Go eWallet becomes the first eWallet in Malaysia to offer comprehensive coverage for on-street parking.

This initiative effectively addresses consumer complaints related to the removal of parking machines.

Alan Ni, CEO of Touch ‘n Go (TNG) Digital Sdn Bhd, announced the expansion of on-street parking coverage under the 19 enabled councils in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.

With the addition of Majlis Perbandaran Klang, Majlis Bandaraya Seremban – Nilai, and Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya, Touch ‘n Go eWallet aims to provide nationwide coverage for on-street parking, eliminating the need for drivers to search for parking machines or paper tickets.

By introducing comprehensive coverage, Touch ‘n Go eWallet addresses consumer complaints and ensures a seamless parking experience for users. This expansion allows drivers to conveniently pay for on-street parking through the eWallet, streamlining the entire process and reducing the hassle of physical payments.

Simple and hassle-free parking payments

To pay for street parking using Touch ‘n Go eWallet, users can follow a simple and convenient process. On the eWallet home screen, they need to tap the Parking symbol under “Services” and select “Pay For Parking Now.” Users can then add the location and their vehicle’s information, ensuring the accuracy of the details before making the payment.

To further enhance the user experience, Touch ‘n Go eWallet has launched a promotional campaign from July 3 to August 4, 2023. Users who utilize the parking feature of the eWallet during the campaign period and spend a minimum of RM0.40 will be eligible for a one-time cashback of up to RM0.50. The cashback promotion is limited to the first 250,000 eligible transactions and will expire once the limit is reached or the campaign ends.

Additionally, users have the opportunity to win exciting prizes such as a PlayStation 5, a Realme phone, or RM100 reload PINs.
