Broadcasting minister Willie Jackson has called on Television New Zealand to change its attitude and embrace a shift in culture under Aotearoa New Zealand Public Media (ANZPM). As plans to create a new public broadcasting organisation for TVNZ and Radio New Zealand gather pace, Jackson told MPs that the television network would need to accept the new-look public media landscape.Under the plans, TVNZ and RNZ will operate under a non-profit parent group, with the commercial television network supplementing state funding.“This is going...
