With its friendly approach and awesome updates, Duolingo’s long been one of our favorite apps for learning another language. Its secret: making the process genuinely fun. Engaging mini-games test your reading, writing, and speaking skills, and joining a club (where you can encourage and compete with others) adds a great social element. Bonus: all those languages and games are available for free!

funny b word ,

get it!!!

i am currently in a highschool spanish class that doesn’t really teach me that well so i downloaded this app cus i just heard about it idk where from but i got it and it has thought me more in a week than my spanish has thought me the past 3 years in the beginning, it takes you over where you’re at in the language that you wanna learn and gives you a great place to start. I love it so much because it always retakes you through the sentences or words that you might’ve missed and you will continue to work on those words over and over again until you have them fully learned yes there are ads but honestly, I enjoy watching them. You don’t get them over and over again usually about two or three if you want to watch an ad to get a free life. and this is if you don’t have Duolingo plus or max. most of the ads are advertised around Duolingo and I love watching them hahaha for some reason but otherwise the other ads that you have to watch are like 30 seconds long if you wanna gain a free life or something like that otherwise the ads are pretty much kept low the app is very easy to work with and very inclusive to everyone I honestly can’t think of a bad thing to say about app when I first got it I definitely didn’t stick with it does a really good job reminding you and you can also keep little widgets on your home screen, reminding you to do your 15 minutes of the day (or how ever long you set your goal too)

This app is so bueno!

I have been using Duolingo for a while now, and recently got into it again after forgetting to practice for a while. I love being able to have a little widget on my home and lock screens to remind me to practice. I can’t remember exactly how long my best streak was, but it was pretty high. I’m currently at an 8 day streak, and I’m excited to finish my course. It’s going to be fun to talk to my friends and then just randomly start speaking Spanish to confuse them. I’m having so much fun, and for a while now, I’ll sometimes say “buenas noches” instead of good night. And I loved going up to my 6th grade teachers and just saying, “Hola. ¿Cómo estás?” And seeing how they responded. Some would reply with “muy bien” and others would say they didn’t understand. Most of the time the conversation would morph into them just having to translate certain parts, as I’m not a fluent or professional Spanish speaker, but it was still fun nonetheless. I love the app, but an idea that I would have is an easy-to-find tutorial for harder aspects of the language you’re learning, because I still to this day can’t roll my Rs whatsoever. Overall it’s a great way for someone like me who has been diagnosed with ADHD and Autism, as well as anyone else who wants to learn a new language. Thanks for reading, hopefully this gave you some good information on my experience with Duolingo, and, of course, adios amigo y amiga!
