The May 2022 International Super Masters 5-a-side World Cup Football Tournament at the Home of FIFA HQ, Zurich, Switzerland, includes 20 invited 60+ and 65+ men's representative teams (i.e., previous host clubs/institutions, previous team winners, new and previous team participants, one team per country) from global regions such as Australasia, The Americas, Europe, and Middle Eastern Gulf States. All team registrations for May 2022 must be confirmed by November 26th 2021. At that time, any available team places will be offered to 'stand-by' representative teams from different nations. Team size is restricted to 7-9 eligible (age-appropriate) tournament players. The non-refundable 2-day team registration fee includes all officiated tournament games and masters football symposium, event logistics, programming and social, trophies, prizes and participation world cup medals for all registered players. Not-for-profit minimal registration costs are designed to facilitate international participation. Travel, insurance, food, and accommodation costs, etc. are borne by individual players. Note: The 60+ & 65+ tournament is a 2-day event. For obvious reasons and fairness to all participating international players, teams/players cannot register for Day 2 (May 20th) games only. For security reasons, please note, only registered players, officials and supporters will be allowed access to the FIFA HQ facility in Zurich, Switzerland on May 19-20th.
